Kavin was my junior back when I was doing my UG. We have had a few interactions here and there. I was quite shocked to find this news through his friend, it felt unreal.

I am from Tirunelveli myself, and as much as I'd want to "date" in this region, the people are so hell bent against love marriages, that they'd even go so far as to kill their own child or the child's lover (child here refers to adult M/F). This is why I never took the risk, despite being interested in quite a number of girls in my college.

While I initially felt bad for the killer's family, I no longer feel so, since they probably planned it ahead. It doesn't help that they're police, which means jail isn't a big deal for them. But I hope he rots in prison for a LOOOONG time, and doesn't get bail.

The real victim here is the girl. She has to witness her parents' viciousness while simultaneously losing her friend. There are also the morons posting these 👇 kind of cringey posts, which was shared by my college mates to me.

What a fuckin joke. If you sample any random set of people in an office workplace and see how many people married inter caste or even inter religion, you'll find brahmins would be topping that chart disproportionate to the actual representation of total brahmin population in the state.
